In fourth grade, students transform into independent learners and develop their love for learning and reading. Fourth graders are eager to learn, discuss and analyze the world around them. We read a wide variety of chapter books as a whole class. Multiplication and long division, states and capitals and the Ten Commandments are all learned! Fourth grade features exciting activites like performing special roles in the Advent Program, serving as volunteers for the Senior Luncheons and turning an age in the "double digits!"

Fourth grade is fantastic! I love the spirit and energy that fourth graders come to school with each day. I love that they are eager to learn and watching them become independent learners is wonderful. Each day they become immersed in their learning and they are passionate about their work. My goal is to provide an environment where my students can reach their utmost potential and grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Fourth grade is an amazing grade to teach. The students are gaining independence and are making big strides in their academic knowledge. They are also learning about themselves and their relationships. It is a joy and honor to watch and assist them as they grow during the year.
