I am excited to move into the fifth-grade ELA/Science role at St. Vincent de Paul! Since I’ve taught at least half of the students already, I am looking forward to reconnecting with former Capistrant Crew members as well as making new connections, seeing where each person is at in their learning journeys, and guiding them through new challenges and towards new successes. I model a love for life-long learning, working together, and respect for each other.
Let’s set sail, Capistrant’s Crew!

I love teaching 5th grade because 5th graders are fun, inquisitive and learn in big gulps. A big part of me is still an 11 year-old and I can see how to help navigate obstacles when they arise. Also I get to laugh at 11 year-old humor every day! In 5th grade, school is still “cool” and that makes it fun to be in class each day.
