Our early childhood students are part of our School Community at St. Vincent de Paul. They exercise in the gym, visit the church and chapel, listen to stories in the library, and sing like angels in music class. In addition to on-site field trips, they participate in age-appropriate activities in the larger school setting. All potty-trained 3-5-year-olds are welcome to attend Faithful Beginnings regardless of religious affiliation.

Faithful Beginnings at St. Vincent de Paul, offers a developmental, child centered program that focuses on the social-emotional, physical, creative and cognitive needs of young children. We believe that children learn best in a positive play-based environment in which they are allowed to explore and learn at their own pace.
In our classrooms, the children freely explore the various stations including art, blocks, creative play, fine motor activities, and reading. Large and small group activities feature stories, games, and songs that reinforce specific concepts. The role of the teacher is to facilitate learning through teachable moments and group activities. Children are introduced to the basics of the Catholic faith as part of daily activities.
The Schulze Family Foundation has created the Schulze Early Learning Scholarship Program to assist middle-income families in gaining access to excellent preschool programs for their children. Click here for more information.
