After School Care 2022-2023

St. Vincent de Paul’s Royal Kids After School Care is designed to provide a safe, fun, stimulating environment while also promoting the values of our Catholic faith and the mission of our parish. We strive to provide our participants with a wide variety of activities to enhance the excellent education they are already receiving during their school day.

Royal Kids After School Care offers full time, part time, and drop-in care for kids in grades K-5.  We are based in the school cafeteria.  Our typical day looks like this:  check in, outdoor or gym play, snack, homework, free play.  Kindergarteners are escorted from their classroom to the cafeteria.  If your child is expected and does not check in we will locate him or her.  Children can go to activities, such as choir, chess club, sports, girl scouts, etc. and then come to Royal Kids when finished.  Homework help is provided. A weekly 5^th grade mini HW Club, and academic enrichment activities.    

Homework Club is strictly for kids in grades 6-8.  Homework Club participants come to the cafeteria to check in and have a snack and then move to another location in the school. Participants can come on a regular full time, part time or drop-in basis.  They can go to and from their after-school activities and then join Homework Club when finished. Activities that go later than 5:30 your child will be signed out when they leave for the activity. The focus of Homework Club is to provide a supervised environment where kids can complete their homework with their peers, get help if needed, and then just hang out with friends or join the activities of the whole group.  

Royal Kids After School Care and Homework Club are open from 1:30 to 5:30 daily.

We will offer care for participants on some school release days.
Hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.  Lunch and morning and afternoon snacks are provided.
There will be a sign-up period approximately one month prior to school release days. 
If 2 weeks prior to any school release day we do not have enough participants enrolled, Royal Kids reserves the right to cancel care for that day.  Drop-in participants will be accepted on school release days at an increased rate.

You may register your child for school days only, drop-in only, school release days only, or any combination of the three.

Dates are subject to change as the school year approaches.

REGULAR PROGRAM FEES

Grades K-5 per child for full & part time: $19.00 per day (pick up by 5:30 PM)

Grades 6-8 per child for full & part time: $11.00 per day (pick up by 5:30 PM)

DROP IN PROGRAM FEES

Grades K-5: $24.00 per day

Grades 6-8: $11.00 per day

SCHOOL RELEASE DAYS FEES

Grades K-8 per child: $40.00 per day

$30.00 registration fee per family (Non-refundable)
