Band Information for 2020-21 School Year
YES, band and orchestra will take place at St. Vincent this year! In consultation with the St. Vincent administration, Totino-Grace Fine Arts Academy and guidelines by the MN Department of Health, we WILL BE offering band and orchestra this year: grades 4 - 8 for band and grades 3 - 8 for orchestra. Physical distancing will be practiced in lessons and group meetings, masks worn to and from lessons and rehearsals and during lessons and rehearsals for string and percussion players / when not playing for woodwind and brass players, as well as instrument specific accommodations for the safety of the students and staff (bell covers, flute shields, individual music and books, etc). The staff has also been working hard over the summer to plan for the best way to quickly and effectively transition to a from the possibility of distance learning, so instruction will continue without pause.
Returning students: simply click HERE to register for the program and you will be set for the year!
