At St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School we have two committees comprised of parent/guardian volunteers:
Home & School Association (HSA) All current school families are welcome to have a parent or guardian join the Home and School Association. The purpose of the HSA is to create a strong school community through celebratory events, volunteering throughout the year, and promoting school spirit and involvement with school families. This is a great way to get to know other parents and build a strong school community.
School Advisory Council (SAC) The School Advisory Council is made up of parents who applied for, and were chosen for, a role on the SAC. Council members hold a 3-year term* with the option of staying for a second term, for a maximum of 6 years. The goal is to have a Council made up of members with diverse professional backgrounds and good communication skills who represent many grade levels within the school. School and Parish administration are also represented to bridge the gap with communication between parents, school, and the parish. The Council's primary role is to advise the principal and help form conversation around decisions made for the school. *Due to COVID some terms have been extended.
