Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School!  We are so happy you are Royals and look forward to getting to know your family.

We know when at a school for the first time, there are many things to learn and keep track of. 
As you get to know St. Vincent de Paul, please use this page as your one-stop shop. We will have the links you need, specific information, and events for new families listed here. Be sure to check back often because we will be posting updates throughout the summer.

We asked our current parents to give us advice for our new parents. These are the tips that they "learned along the way." We hope they make your transition to SVDP a little easier.

Have a question?  Royal Friends are families who have signed up to assist new families at SVDP.  The list is organized by grade, though many families have students in multiple grades, and all of them have experienced more than one grade at SVDP, so they can answer questions.  Feel free to contact any of them to have your questions answered.  Royal Friends List 

School Supplies
Parents have two options for purchasing school supplies.  
1) Purchase on your own at your favorite store(s)
2) Order through School Tool Box.  
Either way they are purchased, please plan to bring them to the Open House/Kindergarten Meeting.

Snacks & Water Bottles
At this time our water fountains are only available for filling cups and bottles.  Please send a water bottle with your student each day.  If they forget, do not worry we have plastic cups for them to use.  Please also send a healthy, peanut free snack with your child for their break time. 

The Advent Program
The last week of school before Christmas Break we have our Advent Program.  This year it is Tuesday, December 20th.  Our Faithful Beginnings Program is in the morning, and our K-8 program is at 12:30 PM. 

The Faithful Beginnings program is only for Faithful Beginnings Families.  

The K-8 program is for all parents and families.  All K-8 students attend the program and sit with their class.  Grades K-4 perform in the program and our 8th graders make a special appearance with their kindergarten buddies.   All students that are performing wear their "Sunday Best." 
The 5th, 6th and 7th grade students are in uniform.

Catholic Schools Week (January 29 - February 4, 2023)
Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is a national celebration of Catholic Schools.  

At SVDP CSW is planned by our student council and includes:
Student lead weekend Masses.
Toasty Toes Sock Collection (a homeless ministry at the Basilica of St. Mary)
The Neon Dance Party (All School Family Dance)
Theme Days including fun activities & dress-up themes, including BINGO!
