I love my many roles at SVDP!  The diversity of my roles allows me to work with all ages of students.
The highlight of my day is seeing all the smiling faces at recess when the kids have the ability to run and play with their friends!

I have led the Home and School Association for the last 4 years and love volunteering my time to help others.  I’ve recently started working part-time as a 2nd-grade para where I help the teachers and their students.  Every morning when I drop into each classroom, I see the joyful eyes of the 2nd graders and it makes me smile.  It is so much fun to see the excitement when they want to tell me a story or when they learn something new.  I’m truly blessed to be a part of their lives and this community!

Teaching has always been a passion of mine since a very young age.  Seeing the growth in students is an amazing feeling for me.  Being a new teacher I wanted to start at a school that would help me develop in my profession.  This is why I am so excited to be at SVDP!
